Perry expected to call up National Guard to Rio Grande Valley

on July 21, 2014, the Texas Fred blog wrote  "Perry expected to call up National Guard to Rio Grande Valley".  America has been battling with illegal immigrant coming from various part of the world, and have even given amnesty to some illegal immigrants in the past.  Many of us, if not all of us will acknowledge that the issue of illegal immigrants coming from the border might not stop unless something is done about it.  This commentary confirms that Gov. Rick Perry is expected to announce that he will activate up to 1000 Texas national guard troops to the Rio Grande valley, as confirmed by the state's senator Juan “Chuy” Hinojosa, D-McAllen.
The purpose  of these troops is to reinforce the work already being done with the surge of Texas department of public safety troopers.  This decision is good when it comes to securing the Texas border, but it also means that it is the responsibility of the state to pay the salaries of the troops, feed, clothe and equip those troops and everything else that goes into a call-up of the Guard. The question being, will these guard  troops who will only secure Texas border stop the surge of illegal immigrants?  This is the reason why the federal government need to intervene in this issue of border protection not just in Texas, this also goes for the states of New Mexico, Arizona and California.
The Federal government has the obligation to protect the U.S border from end to end.  I believe the audience are the residents of the United States as well as the Government officials especially the federal government as the writer pointed out saying "I don’t blame this failure to secure the border solely on Barack Hussein Obama; he is not alone in this. No U.S. President has done much of anything to secure the border for several decades now" The writer is claiming that no U.S government has not done anything serious in the past to protect the U.S border. As a matter of fact, the writer noted that "Let me point this out to those not knowing; the Texas Counties along the Rio Grande, from Brownsville to El Paso are under the control of Hispanic Texas Democrats and the state and U.S. Representatives from all along the border are very sympathetic to the illegals that are flooding Texas, and thus the USA, and will fight tooth and nail to keep the borders open allowing the invasion to continue" I don't agree with the writer on this in the sense that not all Hispanic Texas Democrats may support illegal immigrants, and i believe the U.S government and Texas government are addressing the issue at hand.
