A love letter to Texas women in politics, for Grace Garcia

on June 3, 2014, letters from Texas wrote an article titled "A love letter to Texas women in politics, for Grace Garcia". This article is actually talking about woman and their contribution to Texas state and local government also in the United State as a whole. It also tells us the role women had played in the society in terms of participating in the politics of both the present and past governing system. The author exhibited some credibility when he mentioned some past and present women who have in one way or the other been a leader in Texas as well as the United States.  A few prime examples: Mary Beth Rogers, Ann Richards’ chief of staff. Cecile Richards, founding Executive Director of Texas Freedom Network, and now President of Planned Parenthood. Samantha Smoot, former Executive Director of Texas Freedom Network. Deirdre Delisi, Rick Perry’s former chief of staff. Sarah Floerke, field director of Greg Abbott’s campaign for governor.  The author sees these women in government as dedicated to their duties and has achieved their goals successfully and diligently.  Especially with the fact that women has to be twice as good as a man for them to be noticed and their voice heard in the affairs of government, they are still strong and consistently demonstrating that they earn their seats at the table and will do great if they are much in politics as well. They have also worked harder to achieve political and policy objectives successfully. This article also indicates how women in the past has contributed a great deal to the state; woman like Grace Garcia who was a leader with collections of experience, skills and smart that no one will compete with, she was also dedicated in raising other women in the society and contributing to the welfare of the community as well.
There are lots of evidence to this in our today's society.  Many women have stood strong in their various family, raising their children alone. Apart from in the society, many women have automatically became the head of their family, making sure their children and every member of their household get the best in the society. This article was written to remind woman their value in the society, appreciate them and also as the remembrance of Grace Garcia.  Work sited, Harold cook "A love letter to Texas women in politics, for Grace Garcia" Letters from Texas.
